The coronavirus pandemic brutally exposed the stark health inequalities that persist in our country. It is completely unacceptable that people from different backgrounds, or living in different parts of our country have such different chances of living in good health – from birth through to older age. This roundtable will consider the steps that must be taken to tackle health inequalities in order to realise Labour’s ambition for a brighter, more secure and healthier future for everyone in the country.
