It’s time for a clean start in Gloucester. Add your name to end fly-tipping.
Under the Tories, cases of fly-tipping have skyrocketed by a third over the last 13 years.
Last year in Gloucester, rubbish was dumped on average 23 times a week.
Labour's candidate Alex McIntyre has a plan to clean up our streets:
1. Increase fixed penalty notices for fly-tippers up to £1,000.
2. Use the proceeds to install CCTV in fly-tipping hot spots and improve enforcement.
3. Introduce fixed penalty cleaning orders to force fly-tippers to clean up their mess.
4. Halve the bulky waste collection charge for residents.
5. Take enforcement action against private property landlords to tackle fly-tipping on 'private' property.
